At Firma Contracting, we believe safety is paramount to our success as a contractor and an organization; the safer our work environment, the more productive our team.

 

Before each work day commences on any of our sites, we have a mandatory morning safety meeting to ensure everyone on our crews understands the expected weather, the general conditions and hazards of the site and what work is being conducted that day. This daily briefing also includes review of the Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA), in which everyone on the team acknowledges the hazards specific to their job and the controls in place.

 

Firma is completely Occupational Health and Safety compliant. Firma is COR certified in Saskatchewan. COR is  verification that our health and safety plan not only meets national standards but  is fully implemented.
